Another moan about external libraries. A custome scenery pack has just been released that requires 24 external libraries! These need to be downloaded individually and then referenced in the config file. I think I'll give this a miss.

51 links added. Most were for general aviation and fairly obscure airports (either too small or private airfields to be incorporated in the main X-Plane database).

Why do scenery designers decide to improve payware airports? In some cases, correcting obvious mistakes. Why spend the money on payware airports that need correcting?

Small update today: 19 links to freeware airports, 12 links to payware.
We decided not to provide a link to an improved payware airport.

With so many external libraries now available, and designers commonly using a wide variety in their scenery, is there not a better way to manage libraries? And, how can I tell which libraries a scenery package requires? Just a thought.

Should X-Plane have seasons by now? I know there is a plugin that can help but surely this should be included as part of the core program?
More rants soon.

X-Plane Beta Program |

Anyone else confused about X-Plane beta program? Beta updates appear to be thrown out the door with very little testing. Sometimes the update is pulled very soon after been released. Don't they have automated test tools? Doesn't seem very professional.
Moreover, we all want new features in X-Plane but development appears sloooowww. I can't help thinking that MSFS2020 is going to have a big impact on LR.
