Another issue here. Anyone else think the X-Plane beta program for 11.50 is starting to become a joke? What are we up to now - beta 15? This seems to be going on and on and is starting to get boring. They don't seem to getting any further forward i.e. fix one problem and another appears. I'm beginning to wonder whether they feel Vulkan/Metal was actually worth all the effort (especially at the detriment of all the other aspects that have suffered whilst all the developers have been tied up (not literally!).

We are always being reminded that X-Plane's flight model is really good, but is it? 

I've worked on a number of simulations in my career, all physics based and aiming to replicate the real-world. For X-Plane's flight model to operate as fast as it does, it must be very basic. I suspect they have implemented a model that's about 60% right, any more and then you're in the land of diminishing returns i.e. the increase in realism is not worth the extra computer power required. Just a thought.

A couple of links were added for Africa, as I have said before, Africa has been largely neglected in X-Plane (IMHO) and presents a good opportunity for someone!

Anyone else think that X-Plane's autogen scenery is starting to look really poor? In a recent interview, Austin mentioned that Vulkan/Metal had taken preference but this aspect of this sim is really basic and will need addressing before MFS2020 is released. And, don't get me started on the ATC!

34 airports added today - 33 freeware + 1 payware. Only 1 airport compatible with XP10.

Quick update today - 59 freeware, and 1 payware airports added. Brings the total number of links to well over 12,000!

Another moan about external libraries. A custome scenery pack has just been released that requires 24 external libraries! These need to be downloaded individually and then referenced in the config file. I think I'll give this a miss.

51 links added. Most were for general aviation and fairly obscure airports (either too small or private airfields to be incorporated in the main X-Plane database).
